When you register with us, it’s important to verify the business address you provide. This verification helps confirm the accuracy of your contact information and contributes to building a trusted online marketplace.
If there are any updates or changes to your business address after registration, it’s necessary to reverify it to ensure the information remains accurate. It’s worth noting that if you’re required to verify both your phone number and business address, phone verification should be completed first.
How to Verify Your Business Address:
- If you need to reverify your address information, you’ll see a banner at the top of your Account Information page in Seller Central guiding you to complete address verification.
- To complete verification, go to the Account Information page, and click Business Address and Phone Number.
- If your current business address is correct, enter your name. If it’s incorrect, select a different address or add a new one, and then enter your name.
- Click Confirm. We will verify your address and may send a postcard containing a 6-digit verification code to this address.
- Once you receive the postcard, return to the Business Address and Phone Number page, enter the 6-digit verification code, and submit.
- If you requested a replacement postcard, ensure you’re using the verification code from the latest postcard received.
Remember, you can request a replacement postcard if the expected delivery date has passed. Wait three days after your latest request before submitting a new one. Use carrier tracking details to determine if your postcard is still on the way before requesting a new one.
